PUBLIC NOTICE: NEW OPPORTUNITIES ON THE EMPLOYMENT PORTAL
The Ministry of Science and Digital Economy has announced the publication of six new opportunities on the State Employment Portal under the ARISE Tech Talent Accelerator Programme.
The programme is a strategic digital skills initiative approved by the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Umo Eno. It forms part of the administration’s drive to expand youth empowerment, accelerate digital transformation, and promote economic diversification across the state.
The ARISE Tech Talent Accelerator will train 1,200 young people in high demand digital fields. Areas of focus include:
• Mobile App Development
• Data Analytics
• Cybersecurity
• Cloud Computing and DevOps
• Digital Marketing
• WordPress Development
• Other emerging technology disciplines
Beyond technical training, selected participants will receive structured preparation for internationally recognised certifications. These include AWS, CompTIA, Google Professional Certificates, Flutter, and other industry relevant credentials. The certification component is designed to ensure that beneficiaries meet global standards and improve their employability.
Training activities will align with the state’s broader investment in digital infrastructure, including the ongoing development of the Akwa Ibom Youth Development Hub. The facility is expected to provide a modern, youth friendly environment where young people can learn, collaborate, and develop innovative solutions.
