OpenAI has introduced a new interactive learning feature in ChatGPT aimed at helping users understand maths and science more clearly through dynamic visual explanations.
The company said millions of people turn to ChatGPT each week for support with subjects such as maths and science, areas many students often find difficult to grasp. According to OpenAI, about 140 million users seek help on these topics every week.

Maths and science remain among the most challenging subjects for many learners, both in the classroom and at home. Students often struggle to move beyond memorising formulas, while parents may want to assist but feel unsure about how to explain the underlying ideas.
OpenAI said research has shown that visual and interactive learning can improve conceptual understanding for many students. Based on that, the company explored how artificial intelligence could make abstract ideas easier to see and understand.
The result is a new ChatGPT experience designed to make maths and science lessons more engaging and easier to follow. With dynamic visual explanations, users can interact with concepts in a more practical and intuitive way.
OpenAI described the feature as an early step, but said it sees strong potential for tools like this to support students, parents and educators looking for better ways to approach STEM learning.
