Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has congratulated the newly elected executive members of the All Progressives Congress in the South-South, following the party’s zonal congress held on Tuesday in Asaba, Delta State.
In his remarks after the exercise, Eno praised the peaceful and orderly conduct of the congress, saying the process reflected unity, discipline and strong coordination within the party.
He said the exercise was conducted without disruption and described its outcome as a sign of effective leadership and organisation in the APC.
The governor also reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the party’s leadership across all levels. He said such support would remain important to the efforts to secure victories for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and other APC candidates in future elections.
The congress attracted senior party figures from across the South-South, including the Senate President, governors from the zone, delegates and other party leaders.
