Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel killed two more Iranian nuclear scientists in recent days, as he insisted that operations linked to Iran’s missile and nuclear programmes were still ongoing. He did not identify the scientists by name in the statement cited by current media reports.

In a statement, Netanyahu said Israel remained active in both Iran and Lebanon, adding that its campaign was focused on dismantling Iran’s missile and nuclear capabilities while sustaining pressure on Hezbollah.
He said the latest killings showed that Israeli operations were continuing, despite growing discussion around whether recent military gains could create room for an agreement backed by the United States.
Netanyahu also said he had spoken with US President Donald Trump and suggested there may be an opportunity to turn recent battlefield gains into an arrangement that would help secure Israel’s war aims while protecting what he described as the country’s vital interests.
His remarks come amid continued regional tension, with Israel pressing ahead with strikes and Iran facing sustained attacks on strategic and security-linked targets.
