UYO – A new phase of political mobilisation has begun in Akwa Ibom State as Relax Tinubu is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN) officially unveiled its organisational structure in the state. The launch comes amid growing activity by pro‑administration advocacy groups across the region, signalling preparation for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 re‑election bid, writes DESTINY YOUNG.

RTIFN, a national advocacy movement, has coordinators in all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory. The group focuses on citizen engagement, promoting government initiatives, and countering misinformation on policy reforms. Its national structure brings together political, civic and cultural leaders to strengthen grassroots support for the president.
In Akwa Ibom, the State Coordinator announced that the group’s mandate focuses on three key figures. RTIFN will support President Tinubu, back Governor Umo Eno, and work with Senate President Godswill Akpabio. The triple mandate is designed to integrate national and state leadership strategies, signalling a united front ahead of the elections.
Among the most visible pro‑Tinubu groups in the state are the Renewed Hope Ambassadors and ARISE With Renewed Hope Initiative. Renewed Hope Ambassadors operates nationally, mobilising millions of volunteers to educate citizens on government policies and encourage participation in political processes. The group has zonal coordinators across southern Nigeria, including Akwa Ibom, focusing on youth engagement and grassroots advocacy.
The ARISE With Renewed Hope Initiative has emerged as a key socio‑political platform in Akwa Ibom. It aligns closely with the APC and state leadership, engaging stakeholders to support APC candidates. Officials say the initiative strengthens local campaign structures and facilitates cooperation between the party, state government, and national political leadership.
Other notable groups include the E’ekpede Initiative, a homegrown support movement that publicly backs President Tinubu, Governor Eno, and Senate President Akpabio. Collectively, these groups reflect a growing trend of organised grassroots advocacy within Akwa Ibom, aimed at shaping political narratives and mobilising voters ahead of the 2027 elections.
Political analysts say RTIFN’s launch and the prominence of these advocacy groups signal a strategic alignment of local and national actors. Their presence enhances outreach to communities, strengthens campaign infrastructure, and builds sustained support for the APC leadership.
Governor Umo Eno welcomed the arrival of these structures, describing them as platforms that promote unity and development in the state. Senate President Akpabio also expressed confidence in their ability to mobilise support efficiently, noting that grassroots engagement will be crucial in achieving electoral success.
The coordinated efforts of RTIFN, Renewed Hope Ambassadors, ARISE With Renewed Hope Initiative, and E’ekpede Initiative illustrate a new model of political organisation in Akwa Ibom. By combining local influence with national strategy, these groups are set to play a decisive role in shaping political outcomes and voter sentiment in the years leading up to 2027.
