Akwa Ibom State will be hosting the official inauguration of the State Executive Management Committee of the South South Geopolitical Zone of Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN), from April 8- 13, 2026 in Uyo.
The Akwa Ibom State Coordinator of RTIFN, Chief Kingsley Oyong, who confirmed this in a statement in Uyo on Monday stated that the event which will feature Solidarity Walk, Townhall, and Concert Tour with the theme, “Showcasing the 301 Achievements of the Administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu“, will also feature the formal inauguration of local government structures, including ward and polling unit leaders, and presentations of the groups core objectives.
According to Chief Oyong, while April 8, 2026 will witness arrival of dignitaries of the national executives, along with patrons, matrons, coordinators, and officials of RTIFN from all South-South states, April 9, 2026 will feature a Solidarity Walk, while a Townhall and Stakeholders Engagement is scheduled to hold on April 10, 2026, and a Musical Concert on April 11, 2026 with renowned Nigerian hip pop artists, tagged RELAX CONCERTS, which promises to be an evening of empowerment, performances, and concerts, among others.
The release noted that the group will pay a Courtesy Visit to the Akwa Ibom State Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, PhD on April 12, 2026 while departure of guests is scheduled for April 13, 2026.
The events which will also feature the official inauguration of the State Administrative Councils of Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Edo, Rivers, Bayelsa and Delta states will have the Founder -In-Chief of RTIFN, Barr Seyi Tinubu in attendance.
It could be recalled that the RTIFN is a foremost grassroots and mobilization organization whose mandate and programmes focuses on youth and community development, youth training and empowerment across the state and regions; provision of grants and support for market women across states and zones; medical outreach initiatives to improve community health; town hall meetings to engage and enlighten citizens; and roadshows to showcase the programmes and achievements of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led administration.
RTIFN is coordinated nationally by Ahmed Bala as National Coordinator while Barr Seyi Tinubu serves as Founder-in-Chief, supported by patrons, matrons, and a grand patron.
According to Chief Oyong, the groups objectives shows a strong commitment to youth engagement, public outreach, and ensuring that the Renewed Hope Agenda reaches communities across Nigeria.
Highpoint of the week long event will witness the coming together of Governors, Senators, House of Representatives members, federal appointees and other APC stakeholders from the South South region for a formal adoption of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for a second term in office come 2027.
