Uyo – November 6, 2025 | Governor Pastor Umo Eno has performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the Renewed Hope Housing Estate at Ekpene Ukim in Uruan Local Government Area. The project is a collaboration between the Akwa Ibom State Government and the Federal Housing Authority aimed at improving access to affordable housing for residents.
Governor Eno expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Federal Housing Authority for choosing Akwa Ibom as the first state to launch the initiative. He explained that the housing scheme supports his administration’s ARISE Agenda, which focuses on reducing the housing deficit, generating employment, and enhancing the quality of life for citizens.
According to the governor, the project represents a major step towards transforming hope into tangible homes for the people of Akwa Ibom.
