The Federal Government has opened an online application portal for the strategic recruitment of Technical Facilitators to support the revitalisation of Federal Technical Colleges across Nigeria, the Federal Ministry of Education has announced.
The initiative is a one-year ministerial intervention designed to strengthen Technical and Vocational Education and Training and is aligned with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda to close the country’s critical technical skills gap. According to the Ministry, the programme targets experienced, industry-facing professionals with strong teaching skills to enhance both practical and theoretical instruction in Federal Technical Colleges and make technical education more responsive to labour market needs.

Interested candidates are required to complete and submit the official application form through the Ministry’s designated online portal, with all entries to be subjected to a transparent, rigorous and merit-based selection process, the statement added. The Ministry stressed that submitting an application does not guarantee selection and advised applicants to adhere strictly to the advertised guidelines.
The application window will close at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, 16 March 2026. The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to repositioning Federal Technical Colleges as centres of excellence for skills development, innovation and workforce readiness in support of national economic growth.
