The Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Jumoke Oduwole, has inaugurated new governing boards for key federal agencies overseeing export promotion and industrial regulation.





The boards were constituted for the Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority, the Oil and Gas Free Zones Authority and the Standards Organisation of Nigeria. The minister said the agencies play a central role in strengthening investment inflows and boosting non oil exports in line with the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
She noted that the reconstituted boards are expected to provide firm oversight and policy guidance that delivers tangible economic benefits to citizens. According to her, effective governance at the agencies would help convert policy intent into improved competitiveness, job creation and export growth.
The minister congratulated the newly appointed board members and urged them to approach their responsibilities with a clear focus on accountability, performance and national development.
