Nigeria’s internet adoption continues to rise, with new data showing clear regional concentration. Lagos leads by a wide margin with over 17.5 million users, accounting for about 12.4 percent of national subscriptions. Kano and Ogun follow, reflecting strong demand across both northern and south western corridors. Together, the top ten states account for a significant share of Nigeria’s 142 million internet users, underlining where digital infrastructure, population density, and economic activity intersect most strongly in 2025.
