Globacom has partnered with Samsung to introduce the Galaxy S26 smartphone series to the Nigerian market, strengthening a long running collaboration between the telecoms operator and the global technology brand.

The new devices were unveiled at an event held at Globacom’s corporate headquarters in Lagos, where the company announced exclusive purchase benefits for its subscribers. The initiative forms part of efforts to drive smartphone adoption while boosting data usage across its network.
Under the arrangement, customers who buy any Galaxy S26 model from Gloworld outlets nationwide will receive bundled data offers. These include an eighteen gigabyte bonus data package spread over six months, as well as a Platinum Number electronic SIM with additional monthly data allowances.
Samsung said the Galaxy S26 series reflects its latest advances in mobile technology, with improvements in camera performance, device security and artificial intelligence driven features. The phones also come with enhanced battery efficiency and design refinements aimed at premium users.
Speaking at the launch, Samsung representatives described the partnership with Globacom as strategic, noting that it allows more Nigerians to access flagship devices with added connectivity benefits. Globacom officials said the offer was designed to deliver practical value to customers by combining high end smartphones with affordable data plans.
The companies urged interested buyers to visit Gloworld retail locations to experience the devices and take advantage of the pre order incentives, describing the launch as part of a broader push to align innovation with everyday digital needs in Nigeria.
