RENEWED HOPE FOR JECHIRA
DECLARATION OF INTENT FOR THE VANDEIKYA/KONSHISHA FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY
I, Hon. Mrs. Doris Erdoo Iyo (JP), formally declare my intention to contest for the House of Representatives to represent the people of Vandeikya/Konshisha Federal Constituency.
My vision is anchored on service, inclusion, and a clear commitment to improving the socio-economic conditions of our people through the IMPACT Agenda.
Agricultural Revolution
Our constituency is widely known as a food basket. I will work to strengthen this advantage by supporting our farmers with modern farming tools, improved seedlings, and access to affordable credit facilities.
Youth and Women Empowerment
I will promote strong vocational training programmes and establish a dedicated start-up fund to help our youth and women build businesses, become self-reliant, and create jobs within our communities.
Quality Education and Healthcare
I will advocate for the renovation of primary healthcare centres and support efforts to equip our schools with better learning facilities and digital literacy tools.
Infrastructure Advocacy
I will ensure that our constituency has a stronger voice at the federal level in the push for critical road projects, rural electrification, and other essential infrastructure that can connect our communities and markets to wider economic opportunities.
Why Now
This is a defining moment for our constituency. The economic challenges facing our people, along with the need for inclusive and effective representation, demand leadership that listens, unites, and delivers.
My years in public service have shown me that governance must always put people first. I am stepping forward because I believe Vandeikya/Konshisha deserves representation that is articulate, compassionate, and steadfast.
Call to Action
This journey is not mine alone. It belongs to all of us. It is for the mother in Konshisha who dreams of a better future for her children. It is for the young graduate in Vandeikya seeking opportunity and a chance to thrive.
Together, we can move beyond the status quo.
