Governor Umo Eno has joined the Akwa Ibom State University, AKSU, community at its Combined Convocation Ceremony held in Ikot Akpaden, Mkpat Enin Local Government Area.
The Governor congratulated the graduands on their academic success and urged them to embrace innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship as they move into the next phase of their lives.
He said the world rewards people who dare to dream, think differently and create practical solutions to the challenges around them.
Governor Eno also commended the Vice Chancellor of AKSU, Prof. Oto-Abasi Akpan, and the university management for what he described as their efforts in repositioning the institution among leading universities in the South-South region.
He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to preparing young people in the state for the future through quality education, ICT, creativity and enterprise development.
The Governor said his government would continue to support initiatives that strengthen education and equip students with skills needed to compete in a changing global economy.
He congratulated the graduands, their families and the university community on the successful ceremony.
