The All Progressives Congress, APC, has released its timetable and schedule of activities for the 2027 General Elections, setting out key dates for the sale of forms, screening of aspirants, publication of screening results, appeals and primary elections across all elective offices.
The schedule, issued from the party’s National Secretariat, Buhari House, 40 Blantyre Street, Wuse II, Abuja, was signed by the APC National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, OFR.
According to the party, the timetable was issued in line with the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999, as amended, the Electoral Act 2026, and the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, revised timetable and schedule of activities for the 2027 General Elections.
Under the schedule, notice of election to state chapters takes effect on Monday, April 20, 2026, while the sale of forms at the APC National Secretariat will run from Saturday, April 25, to Saturday, May 2, 2026.
The last day for the submission of completed forms and accompanying documents is Monday, May 4, 2026.
The party fixed the screening of aspirants for State House of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senate and governorship positions for Wednesday, May 6, to Friday, May 8, 2026, while presidential screening is scheduled for Saturday, May 9, 2026.
Publication of screening results for all categories of aspirants will take place on Monday, May 11, 2026, while screening appeals for State House of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senate, governorship and presidential aspirants will hold from Tuesday, May 12, to Wednesday, May 13, 2026.
For the primary elections, the APC fixed the presidential primary for Friday, May 15, to Saturday, May 16, 2026. The House of Representatives primary will hold on Monday, May 18, 2026, followed by the Senate primary on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. The State House of Assembly primary is scheduled for Thursday, May 21, 2026, while the governorship primary will hold on Saturday, May 23, 2026.
The timetable also provides dates for election appeals. The presidential appeal is fixed for Monday, May 18, 2026. The House of Representatives appeal will hold on Wednesday, May 20, while the Senate appeal is slated for Thursday, May 21. The State House of Assembly appeal is scheduled for Saturday, May 23, and the governorship appeal for Monday, May 25, 2026.
The party also released the cost of its expression of interest and nomination forms for aspirants seeking various offices.

House of Assembly aspirants are to pay N1 million for expression of interest and N5 million for nomination, bringing the total to N6 million.
House of Representatives aspirants will pay N1 million for expression of interest and N9 million for nomination, making a total of N10 million.
For the Senate, aspirants are to pay N3 million for expression of interest and N17 million for nomination, for a total of N20 million.
Governorship aspirants will pay N10 million for expression of interest and N40 million for nomination, bringing the total to N50 million.
Presidential aspirants are to pay N30 million for expression of interest and N70 million for nomination, making a total of N100 million.
The APC stated that female aspirants, youths and persons living with disabilities will pay for the expression of interest form and 50 per cent of the prescribed nomination fee for each position.
In a statement accompanying the release, the party said the timetable underscores its commitment to a credible and transparent primary process that will strengthen internal democracy and deepen its progressive ideals.
The APC urged members, stakeholders and the wider public to take note of the schedule and comply with the guidelines as preparations intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections.
